As frequently requested by users, we have developed a new feature in which desktop apps and iOS apps can speak to one another and that is via our user-based authorization license system. When you purchase a desktop application or subscribe to one of our subscriptions, you will be able to unlock the iOS App for FREE. Here is how it works:
- Purchase one of our desktop apps and/or subscribe to one of our subscription services.
- Make sure you have a GM Store and a license-based subscription Here. IMPORTANT: Your User-Based account email and GM Store accoun email must be the same.
- Download the corresponding iOS app from the iOS App Store.
- Enter your user-based login and password in the Settings-->Login area of the app.
- Our app will recognize your Desktop purchase and unlock the Factory Content.
If I purchase the iOS App Do I get the Desktop for FREE?
I downloaded from my computer and I cannot put the zip file into my iPad.
In order to install a new iOS app, you cannot download the zip bundle from the desktop and import it to your iOS Device. You must download the app from the iOS App Store first, then enter your user-login information to unlock features.
Can I share presets between the two
Yes! Go to your preset browser and Right+Click/Tap+Hold on a Library, Bank, or Preset and Export. Once you Export, you can then Import into your other app.
What's the Difference Between the iOS and Desktop?
In order to save on space, we typically have a reduced sample version for the iOS, while the desktop has the full version. Functionality-wise both the desktop and iOS features remain identical.
How many activations do I get?
You get 3-Activations in total. This means that you are limited to activing up to 3-devices. For example, if you have MKSensation Xtreme on your iPad, iPhone, and Desktop, then that counts as 3-Activations.
How Do I Reset My User-Based Password?
Please Click HERE in order to reset your user-based login. Please note that the GM Store Account E-mail and User-Based Login should be the same E-mail address; however, both need to be managed separately.
